Why Ratana Group

What Sets Our Approach Apart

Facilitator-Led, Not Lecture-Based

Sessions move at the pace of the room. Questions are welcomed; digression into your own situation is the point.

No Products, No Commissions

Ratana Group does not sell financial products. There is nothing to buy at the end of any session.

Small Group Sizes

Programmes are capped so that each participant can bring their own documents and receive attention on their specific questions.

Relevant to Life in Thailand

Content addresses the Thai regulatory environment, tax structure, and the realities of mixed-nationality households.

Plain English Throughout

Financial documents contain jargon by necessity. Sessions translate that jargon into language anyone can work with.

Materials You Keep

Every programme includes printed reference materials — summaries, templates, or reading guides — to refer back to later.

Is This the Right Moment to Take Stock?

Many adults arrive in their mid-40s with provident fund statements they have never properly read, estate documents that remain unsigned, or rental properties whose returns they have never fully calculated. These programmes are for that moment.

Common Questions

What People Usually Ask First

Do I need any financial background to attend?

No. The programmes are designed for adults who are not financial professionals. The facilitator explains concepts from first principles, using the documents participants bring from their own funds or properties.

Will the facilitator advise me on what to do with my money?

The facilitator will help you understand what your documents say and what the options in front of you actually mean — but will not tell you what to choose. Ratana Group does not hold a financial advisory licence and does not offer investment recommendations.

Are the programmes conducted in English only?

Current programmes are delivered in English. Thai-language documents are welcome and will be translated during sessions as needed. Contact us if you have a group that would prefer a Thai-language delivery.

How many people attend each session?

Groups are kept to between six and twelve participants. This allows the facilitator to spend time on individual questions and for participants to share their own experiences if they choose.

What should I bring to a session?

For the Provident Fund programme, bring your most recent fund statement. For the Estate Documents workshop, bring any draft or completed estate documents you already have, or simply come with questions. For the Property Income programme, bring any tenancy agreements or purchase documents if relevant.

How do I register, and is there a deadline?

Submit an enquiry through the contact form below or call us directly. Places are allocated on a first-come basis and sessions close once the group is full. We recommend reaching out at least two weeks before your preferred date.

Can my employer fund my attendance?

Many HR departments support financial literacy for employees approaching retirement age. We can provide a formal invoice and, where requested, a brief description of the programme for your employer's records. Contact us for details.
