Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 1 April 2025  |  Ratana Group  |  Bangkok, Thailand

These terms apply to all Ratana Group programmes and your use of this website. Please read them at your own pace before registering for a programme.

1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in programmes offered by Ratana Group ("we", "us", "our"), registered in Bangkok, Thailand, and your use of our website at ratanagra.world. By registering for a programme or using this website, you agree to these terms.

These terms are written in plain English and are intended to be straightforward. If anything is unclear, we encourage you to reach out to us at [email protected] before registering.

2. Programme Descriptions

Ratana Group currently offers the following programmes:

  • Provident Fund Literacy Programme — Three sessions. ฿5,750 per participant.
  • Estate Documents and Family Conversations — One-day workshop. ฿8,900 per participant.
  • A Considered Approach to Property Income — Two sessions. ฿11,400 per participant.

Programme content, structure, session dates, and facilitators are described on the website at the time of registration. We reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments to programme content in the interest of quality, accuracy, or relevance. Such adjustments do not affect the core subject matter of the programme.

3. Registration

Registration is considered confirmed once you have submitted the contact form or written to us directly and we have acknowledged your place in writing (by email). Places are allocated in the order registrations are received.

You must be at least 18 years of age to register. Our programmes are designed for adults and are not suitable for participants under 18.

We reserve the right to decline a registration at our discretion. If a registration is declined after payment has been received, a full refund will be issued within 7 business days.

4. Payment

Programme fees are quoted in Thai Baht (THB) and are inclusive of any applicable materials specified in the programme description. Payment instructions will be provided upon confirmation of your place.

Full payment is required to secure your place. A place is not confirmed until payment has been received and acknowledged by us. We do not hold places pending payment for more than five business days unless other arrangements have been made in writing.

All payments are non-refundable except as described under Section 5 (Cancellation and Changes) or in the case of a programme cancelled by Ratana Group.

We do not accept instalment payments or deferred payment arrangements unless expressly agreed in writing on a case-by-case basis.

5. Cancellation and Changes

Cancellation by participant:

  • Cancellations received in writing 14 or more calendar days before the first session date: a full refund, less a 350 THB administrative processing charge.
  • Cancellations received 7 to 13 calendar days before the first session date: a 50% refund of the programme fee.
  • Cancellations received fewer than 7 calendar days before the first session date: no refund is available.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. Verbal cancellations are not accepted. The date of receipt of your written notice is the date used to determine which refund tier applies.

Participant substitution: You may transfer your place to another person at no charge, provided you notify us in writing at least 48 hours before the first session and provide the name and contact details of the substitute. The substitute participant accepts these terms upon attendance.

Cancellation by Ratana Group: In the event that a session or programme is cancelled by us due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including facilitator illness, natural events, or public health directives), we will offer either a rescheduled date or a full refund of the fee paid. We will not be liable for any travel, accommodation, or other consequential costs incurred by participants.

Rescheduling by Ratana Group: We may reschedule a session date with reasonable notice. We will provide at least 7 days' notice of a rescheduled date where possible. Participants who cannot attend the rescheduled date may cancel with a full refund.

6. Attendance

Programme fees are per participant. Attendance is personal and non-transferable during a programme, except as described under participant substitution in Section 5.

If you miss a session within a multi-session programme, we will make reasonable efforts to provide you with a summary of the session content, but we are not obliged to run a repeat session for individual participants.

Sessions begin at the time stated in your confirmation. We ask that participants arrive a few minutes early to allow the session to start on time for all attendees.

7. Materials

Where a programme description states that materials are included (such as a printed booklet or reference packet), these will be provided to participants in attendance. Materials are for personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without our written permission.

Materials are provided in the English language unless stated otherwise.

8. Participant Conduct

We aim to create a considered, respectful environment for all participants. We ask that participants:

  • Engage with the session in good faith and with consideration for other participants
  • Refrain from recording sessions (audio or video) without our prior written permission
  • Treat facilitators and other participants with courtesy

We reserve the right to ask a participant to leave a session if their conduct is disruptive, disrespectful, or inconsistent with these principles. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.

9. Educational Content — Not Financial Advice

Ratana Group programmes are educational in nature. Content is designed to improve understanding of financial topics relevant to adults in Thailand. Nothing presented in any programme constitutes personalised financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.

We do not hold a securities licence or financial advisory licence. We do not recommend specific funds, products, investments, or courses of action. Any decisions you make on the basis of programme content are your own, and we encourage you to consult a licensed professional for advice specific to your circumstances.

Facilitators may refer to historical data, factsheets, and publicly available documents for illustrative purposes. Such references are not endorsements.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Ratana Group's liability to any participant arising out of or in connection with a programme or these terms shall not exceed the programme fee paid by that participant.

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or financial losses arising from your participation in or reliance on programme content. This includes, without limitation, any investment or financial decisions made following attendance.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence.

11. Intellectual Property

All content presented in Ratana Group programmes — including session materials, frameworks, printed booklets, and reference packets — is the intellectual property of Ratana Group and is provided for the personal educational use of registered participants.

You may not reproduce, distribute, adapt, or resell programme materials without our prior written consent. This does not affect your right to take personal notes for your own use.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from these terms or your participation in a Ratana Group programme shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok, Thailand.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. The terms that apply to your programme registration are those in effect at the time your registration is confirmed.

We will not apply material changes to these terms retrospectively to confirmed bookings without notifying participants directly.
