Why Ratana Group

What You Get Here
That Is Harder to Find Elsewhere

Financial education for adults 40+ exists in many forms. Most of it arrives attached to a product being sold. Ours does not.

Six Things Worth Knowing Before You Decide

No Products, No Commission

Ratana Group does not sell financial products and receives no commission from any fund manager, insurance company, or property developer. The fee you pay for a programme is the only revenue involved.

Small Groups by Design

Sessions cap at twelve. This is not a cost-saving measure. It allows the facilitator to give meaningful attention to each person's questions and documents during the session.

Built for Thailand

Content is based on Thai provident fund regulations, Thai succession law, and the Thai property tax framework — not generic regional content translated for local use.

Document-Based Learning

Sessions work through actual documents — fund factsheets, will templates, rental agreement structures — rather than slides summarising what documents contain.

Facilitators, Not Salespeople

The person leading the session is there to help participants understand their documents, not to persuade them toward a particular decision or product category.

Printed Materials Included

Each programme provides a printed reference pack — summaries, blank templates, or reading guides — that participants take home and can refer to when dealing with their own documents later.

In More Detail

What Each Benefit Means in Practice

Substantive Expertise

The facilitators who run Ratana Group programmes have worked directly within the areas they teach. The lead facilitator on the provident fund programme has fifteen years of experience in the Thai financial sector. The estate documents workshop is led by someone with a formal legal background in Thai succession matters. This is not content assembled from publicly available summaries.

When participants bring their own documents to a session, the facilitator can engage with what those documents actually say — because the facilitator has read documents of this type many times before.

What This Looks Like in a Session

  • Facilitator reads and explains participant's actual fund factsheet line by line
  • Questions about specific document clauses are answered with context, not generalities
  • When a question exceeds the scope of financial education, participants are told clearly what kind of professional to consult
  • Materials reflect current Thai regulatory settings, reviewed before each delivery

Before and After a Session

  • Enquiries answered within one working day with programme details and scheduling options
  • Pre-session notes sent so participants know what to bring
  • Printed materials provided on the day, not as downloadable PDFs
  • Follow-up correspondence available for administrative questions after the session

Attentive Programme Support

Ratana Group is a small practice, which means enquiries are handled by people who know the programmes directly rather than by a general customer service function. When you contact us, you are communicating with someone who can give you an accurate and considered response about the programme content.

This also applies to the session itself. The facilitator is available throughout the day for a workshop, and sessions are not scheduled so tightly that there is no time for the questions that arise unexpectedly.

Transparent, Fixed Pricing

Programme fees are stated clearly: ฿5,750 for the Provident Fund Literacy Programme, ฿8,900 for the Estate Documents workshop, and ฿11,400 for the Property Income programme. There are no add-ons, follow-up upsells, or supplementary materials available for purchase. The reference pack is included in the price.

Group and employer bookings are available at a per-person rate for groups of four or more attending the same session. Contact us for details.

What Sets Us Apart

Distinctive Features of the Ratana Group Approach

The "Bring Your Own Documents" Format

Participants are encouraged to bring their own provident fund statements, draft wills, or rental agreements to sessions. The facilitator will work through what those specific documents say — not a generic example. This is unusual in group financial education settings.

A Clear Separation from Financial Advisory

Many programmes blurring the line between education and advice can cause participants to mistake informational content for personalised recommendations. Ratana Group maintains this distinction carefully and states it clearly at the beginning of every session.

Estate Planning Designed for Mixed-Nationality Households

A significant portion of adults in Bangkok's 40+ professional community have family members of different nationalities or hold property in more than one country. The estate documents workshop addresses these specific situations rather than treating them as edge cases.

Honest Property Income Assessment

The property income programme includes a clear-eyed discussion of when rental property ownership stops making sense — including the time, energy, and stress costs that financial-return calculations do not always capture. This perspective is rarely offered in property-adjacent financial education.
